How to increase your import limit

You have the power to increase your subscriber import limit to 10,000 directly from your beehiiv account. Should you need to further increase your limit, you'll need to fill out a form as outlined below. You can also refer to this article for more information on import limits. 

How to increase your import limit 

1. From the left panel Dashboard, scroll down and click Settings.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Your publication settings will open. Navigate to the desired publication and select Subscribers Import.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the Request to raise your import limit section and click on the pink Start Stripe Identity Verification button.
   
   
   
   
   
   Reminder: Anyone importing more than 10 subscribers into beehiiv will need to verify their identity through Stripe Identity Verification. This process not only verifies your identity, but also grants you access to API keys, and the Boosts marketplace.

    

4. A Stripe form will appear for a quick verification process that will take about 1 to 3 minutes. You’ll need to click Agree and continue, then follow the instructions presented.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. If you would like to further increase your import limit to more than 10,000 after completing the above verification, scroll down to Request to raise your import limit and click on Open Request Form.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. A form will appear on the right for you to make the request directly from your account.

Common reasons for Stripe Identity Verification denial

If your identity verification through Stripe was denied, there are several possible reasons this may have occurred, including:

• The document provided was expired.
• Stripe was unable to verify the identity document.
• The document did not include a clear facial image.
• The captured face image did not match the photo on the document.
• The selfie could not be verified by Stripe.
• The document type provided was not an accepted format.

Tips for successful Stripe Verification

To improve the chances of successful Stripe verification, make sure to:

• Use a valid, unexpired identity document.
• Complete the verification in a well-lit area to ensure clear photo quality.
• Double check that your document type is accepted by Stripe in your region.
