How to delete a publication from beehiiv

The process of deleting a beehiiv publication depends on the number of publications in your workspace.

• If you have multiple publications: You can delete a specific publication using the provided options within your account.
• If you have only one publication: You will need to delete your entire account in order to delete your only publication; because of this, you won't see an option to delete your publication.

We’ll start with the process of deleting one of multiple publications and then explain what to do if you have only one publication and wish to delete it.

How to delete a publication if you have other beehiiv publications 

1. From the left panel Dashboard, scroll down and click Settings.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Your publication settings will open in the left panel. Scroll down to Workspace Settings and click Overview.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Navigate to the All Publications section, where your publications are listed. Find the publication you wish to remove, click the 3-dot icon next to its name, and select Delete.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. You’ll be asked to confirm your choice, noting that deleting the publication will also delete any subscribers, segments, and data that may be associated with it. 
   
   Type the name of the publication in the field to confirm, then click on Delete.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. A confirmation message will briefly appear at the top of your screen, indicating that the deletion process has been activated. After a few moments, the page will refresh, and the deleted publication will no longer appear under Publications.

How to delete your publication and your beehiiv account

3. Scroll down to the Delete Workspace section and click Delete Workspace.
   
   
   Reminder: Deleting a Workspace will permanently remove all associated beehiiv publications and team members.
   
   
   
   
4. A confirmation message will appear, informing you that deleting the workspace will log you out of your beehiiv account. To proceed, click Delete.
