How to enable comments for a post

When you have comments enabled for your publication, you can choose which subscribers can engage by liking and commenting on your posts.

How to enable comments on an individual post

  1. From the left panel Dashboard, click Start Writing, or open a post that you would like to edit.

  2. The Post Builder will open on the Compose page. Switch over to the Web page from the top navbar. Under the Web post settings, go to Comments.



  3. Click on the down arrow next to All subscribers and choose between it and Paid subscribers only, Disabled: Hide comments section, or Locked: Show comments section, but disable new comments.

  4. After you publish the post and it is live, you will then be able to preview and moderate the comment section. 

How to add an engagement button for comments or likes on a post

You can also give your subscribers the ability to like or comment on your post with just a single click in the email header.

 

  1. From the left panel Dashboard, click Start Writing, or open a post that you would like to edit.

  2. The Post Builder will open on the Compose page. Switch over to the Email page from the top navbar.



  3. Under Display social engagement buttons in the email header? click on the arrows next to Social and Engagement Buttons to choose between it and Social Buttons, or None. Selections will be synced/saved automatically.
