Adding borders and managing sections in your posts

Adding and customizing borders around sections is easy to do from within the Post Builder. Follow the instructions below to add borders around the sections that you create within your newsletter.

How to add and customize borders around sections

  1. From an open post, highlight all of the content you want to group together within a border.

  2. Click the 6 dots icon to the left of any of the selected content blocks to access the menu and select Group to section.

  3. The sections will now be grouped together. Click the 6 dots icon to the left of the group and select Visibility from the menu options. (You can also click Ungroup to undo the action.)

  4. The Visual settings will be revealed where you can customize the section’s Spacing, Border, Background color, and Text color. You can also click Reset all to revert the settings.

  5. Click on Borders to customize the border Radius (to make the edges more or less curved), Thickness, Style (Solid, Dashed, Dotted), and Color. You can also click Reset all to revert the settings.

  6. Click on Spacings to customize the spacing of your border. You can also click Reset all to revert the settings.

Inner spacing is the space between the text content in the grouping as well as the top and bottom of the border.
Outer spacing is the space above and below each grouping or section.

  7. Advanced: If you want to have different padding on the top versus bottom or left versus right, click the icon next to the Spacings option to customize spacing for all four sides.

  8. Advanced (continued): You can also click the icon next to the Borders option to customize the radius and thickness of the border for each side/corner.

  9. Changes will be synced automatically in the Post Builder. Once customizations have been added, you’ll see them reflected in your post.

How to duplicate, copy, or delete sections of a post

Now that you’ve customized the border styles, colors, spacing, and other attributes of your sections, you can easily duplicate, copy, or delete these sections to maintain consistency without needing to reconfigure any settings.

  1. Click the 6 dots icon to the left of a block or section to access the menu and select Duplicate. A copy of the block or section will appear below.

  2. You can also select Copy to clipboard to copy the entire section or block, allowing you to paste it wherever you need within the post.

  3. If you wish to delete the entire block or section, select Delete from the menu options. Changes will be synced automatically.
