How to customize your newsletter footer
The footer appears at the end of your post, generally following the body content and email signature of your newsletter. It typically includes essential details like your company's address and an unsubscribe link, but you can also tailor it to include useful information such as contact details, social media links, or legal disclaimers.
With beehiiv, you can customize your footer’s appearance to match your branding and create a cohesive look throughout your newsletter. We’ll start by covering the required footer elements, then move on to how to customize your publication footer — including adding custom content.

Required footer elements
There are a few elements in the beehiiv footer that cannot be changed:
- Address Requirement: By law, your email footer must include an address. While this element cannot be removed through design customization, you can edit the address in your publication settings.
- 'Powered by beehiiv' tag: This tag helps us maintain competitive pricing and is an integral part of our business model. While it cannot be changed on most plans, we do offer private branding options for our Max and Enterprise customers.
