How to edit custom fields in a subscriber profile
Before beginning, ensure you have created custom fields and have gathered some information from your subscribers.
- From the left panel Dashboard, go to Audience > Subscribers.
-
Select the subscriber you wish to add a custom field to. Click the subscriber’s email address to open their Subscriber Profile.
- In their Subscriber Profile, you’ll find subscriber details in a series of dropdown menus. Click into the Custom Fields options and you’ll see the custom fields that you have already created in the dropdown list.
- Navigate to the custom field that you want to modify and click the three dots menu in the corner of the field box. Depending on your number of custom fields, you may need to click Load more to display all of the fields that have been created.
Click Edit to modify the custom field you selected. Modifying this field will only modify the subscriber whose profile you are currently in.
- Enter the applicable data and click Save.
-
If you already have a value in a custom field, you will also see the option, from the three dots menu, to click Delete. This will permanently delete the value of the custom field for only that subscriber, but not the custom field itself.
-
If you selected to delete a custom field for the subscriber, you’ll be asked to save your choice by clicking Confirm.
