Exporting beehiiv poll data
You can easily request and download the data for any of the polls in your account, giving you actionable insight into your readers’ feedback for analysis or other purposes.
How to export beehiiv poll data
- From the left panel Dashboard, go to Audience > Polls.
- Select the poll from your list of created polls that you're looking to export data for.
- You’ll be brought to your poll results page. Click on the Export Results button to start the export process.
- A status message will appear notifying you that you will receive an email when the export is ready. You can also click on 'here' in this messaging to be taken directly to the file.

The downloaded file will be accessible in the Historical Exports section on the Export Data page in your settings.
You'll see all your recent exports listed including the Export Date, Type, Status, and Export Link for each. Your requested exports will be listed as Poll Responses under the Type column. Other export requests, such as subscriber data or post content, can also be found here.
To download any of the files, click Download.
Tech Note: Download links for exported data are valid for 24 hours. If the link expires, you’ll need to request the export again following these steps. - You will also receive an email with a direct link to download the file containing your poll data.
