How to customize a Signup Page

All Signup Page functionalities are available in your beehiiv account under the Website Builder. Paid plan users can further customize their Signup Page by accessing the Layout tab in the Website Builder.

How to customize a Signup Page

From the left panel Dashboard, click on Design > Website Builder.

The Website Builder will open on the Home Page with the Styles tab selected, so you’ll need to switch to the Layout tab for the Signup Page. These options are found at the top of your screen in the main navbar. 

Make the switch by clicking on the down arrow next to Home Page in the center of the page, then select Signup Page. Over on the left next to the Styles tab, select the Layout tab instead.

We’ll go over the controls for the Layout tab below, simply click on each section to reveal its content. 

 

Layout tab options

Hero Section
In the Hero Section you can: 
• Add an image for the background of your Signup Page.
  
  
• Add an image to be used as the hero image.
  
  
• Enable your logo to be on the page.
  
  
• Set the Overline, Headline, Description, and Underline for the page. 
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Color, Font Family, and Font Size. 
• Set the Redirect Link for the page (this would be the page your subscribers are taken to after they click the Subscribe button on the Signup Page).  
  • Click on the Styles button to enable a redirect and set the Color, Global Button Font, and Font Size.
    
    
    
Testimonials Section
In the Testimonial Section you can decide if you want to feature testimonials on your Signup Page by toggling the option on. 
If enabled, you can:  
• Select a color to be used for the Background. 
  
  
• Determine the Alignment of your testimonials.
  
  
• Set the Overline and Headline Colors and Fonts.
  
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Color, Global Heading Font, and Font Size.
• Add a new testimonial by clicking on Add.
  • This will open a panel on the right side for you to include a Testimonial Image, add a Name (required), Description, and Message (required). 
    
    
  • Click on the Create Button to save your Testimonial.
• Choose from one of your previous testimonials by clicking on Select. 
  
  
• Design how your testimonials appear.
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Card Background, Border, Text, and Font Family.
    
    
    
Featured Posts Section
In the Featured Posts Section you can decide if you want to feature posts by toggling the option on. 
If enabled, you can:  
• Choose to have All Post Images Enabled by toggling the option on.
  
  
• Select a color to be used for the Background for the Featured Posts on your Signup Page. 
  
  
• Determine the Text Alignment of your posts.
  
  
• Set the Overline and Headline Colors and Fonts.
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Color, Font Family, and Font Size. 
• Select the posts to be featured on the Signup Page.
  
  
• For your Post Cards, click on Override Global Styles to reveal settings for Fill Enabled (adds an outline to the Post Cards), Background Color, Border Color, Radius, Heading Color, Heading Font Family, Body Color, Body Font Family, Premium Text Color, Insights Color, Tags Background Color, and Tags Text Color.
  
  
  
FAQ Section
In the FAQ Section you can decide if you want to feature FAQs by toggling the option on. 
If enabled, you can:  
• Select a color to be used for the Background of the FAQ section on the Signup Page. 
  
  
• Determine the Text Alignment of your FAQ.
  
  
• Set the Overline and Headline Colors and Fonts.
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Color, Font Family, and Font Size. 
• Add a new FAQ by clicking on Add.
  • This will open a panel on the right for you to include a Question (required) and Answer (required), then click on the Create button to save it.
    
    
  • Click on the Styles button to adjust the Question, Answer, Border, Button, and Font Family.
    
    
    

Be sure to publish any changes or updates

After you have finished updating the look of your Signup Page, always be sure to save your changes by clicking on the Publish Signup Page button, found in the far right corner of the Website Builder while on the Layout tab. You will not see any new changes made to your live Signup Page until you publish them.
