The Local News Accelerator is our initiative to support local newsletter operators with exclusive discounts, resources, community support, and learning opportunities. We’ve teamed up with our friends at 6AM City, The Texas Tribune, Perplexity, and others to make it happen.
Who is eligible to join the Local News Accelerator?
Any local newsletter operator (or aspiring one) on beehiiv is eligible to apply. There are no requirements around list size or specific content focus: if you’re covering your community in any capacity, you’re more than welcome.
If you’re not on beehiiv yet, you’ll be prompted to migrate to unlock full benefits.
Note: beehiiv users on a paid plan are encouraged to join, though the 50% off 3-month coupon is reserved for new customers (the remaining benefits are available to all).
