How to confirm your account with Stripe Identity Verification

Stripe is our payment processing partner that facilitates beehiiv financial transactions and identity verification services. 

Anyone importing more than 10 subscribers into beehiiv will need to verify their identity through Stripe Identity Verification. This process not only verifies your identity, but also grants you access to API keys, and the Boosts marketplace.

How to verify your account with Stripe Identity

1. From the left hand panel in your account, go to Settings > Publications > and then click on the Import Subscribers tab.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Scroll down to the Raise your import limit section and click on the pink Start Stripe Identity Verification button.
   
   
3. A Stripe form will appear for a quick verification process that will take about 1 to 3 minutes. You’ll need to click Agree and continue, then follow the instructions presented. It will ask you to follow a QR code and then upload images of a valid ID.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. After completing the Stripe process, you’ll receive a confirmation on your screen and see a thank you message in the Raise your import limit section letting you know you'll receive an email with the final outcome of the verification shortly.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Check your beehiiv account email for the Stripe verification. Upon email confirmation, your identity will be verified and your account will show that you can now import up to 10,000 subscribers.
